When you participate in clinical trials, not only do you benefit from free medical care, but you also play an important role in advancing medical research.

Volunteers Needed for NIH Penicillin Allergy Study at VCU/MCV -- A research study is being conducted for people between the ages of 18-45 who suffer from both penicillin and seasonal allergies. Virginia Adult & Pediatric Allergy & Asthma (VAPA) -- VAPA has been dedicated to finding newer, safer and more effective treatments for the following conditions:

•    Pediatric and adult asthma
•    Pediatric and adult allergies
•    COPD
•    Urticaria
•    Diabetes with breathing problems (Asthma or COPD)
•    Sinusitis
•    Chronic bronchitis

All skin testing, pulmonary function tests, lab work, study-related medical exams, and study medication are provided at no cost to qualified participants. Additionally, participants are compensated for time and travel.
