Student Health Center

The Student Health Center provides evaluation and treatment for illnesses and injuries, assistance in managing chronic disease and offers comprehensive program in health education and health maintenance. Our staff of board-certified physicians, nurse practitioner and registered nurses are experienced in the care of young adults.

The Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC) has awarded the Student Health Center at University of Richmond another three-year term of accreditation. This accreditation affirms that the Health Center meets and will continue to demonstrate the attributes as reflected in the standards of the accrediting body. The Health Center is accredited through 2023.

The Student Health Center will be open for administrative concerns, and will resume patient care August 15th.

Covid self-test kits
The University will provide free self-test kits to faculty, staff, and students throughout the summer. Pick up locations and times:
  • Center for Student Involvement, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • URPD Communication Center in the Special Programs Building, seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
New student form for reporting positive COVID tests

Students who are on campus, or who test positive within 10 days of their scheduled return to campus, should report positive COVID-19 test results by using this new form.
