Angela Waters obtained her Bachelor’s in Nursing and a Master’s degree in Nursing Leadership and Administration from VCU School of Nursing. Angela is an energetic and compassionate experienced Clinician Level V, Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse. With 20 years of professional experience including Emergency Medicine, Nursing Leadership, staff development and education. Angela has experience working in both acute care and primary care settings and is dedicated to excellence in process improvement programs. She is excited to join Student Health Center and increase awareness in Health Promotion.In her free time, Angela enjoys spending quality time with her husband and her two children in sports events and the outdoors, especially at Smith Mountain Lake.
