Dr. Ballum joined the University of Richmond Student Health Center as a physician in 2013. She received her undergraduate degree from Colgate University. She completed medical school and her pediatric residency program at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. Dr. Ballum is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. After five years in private practice, she was delighted to transition to the college health setting to have an opportunity to care for and educate students as they transition from pediatric to adult health care.
