Dr. Turse began working at the University of Richmond in 2026 as the Medical Director of the Student Health Center. She is a Board Certified Pediatrician and previously worked as a general pediatrician in the Richmond/Henrico community. She received her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and attended residency at University of Virginia. As SHC Medical Director, she provides acute medical care to full-time students as well as managerial oversight of the health center.
Her interests involve educating students on wellness and preventative approaches to health and well-being. She brings specialized experience in young adult health, with a focus on supporting college students as they navigate taking ownership of their healthcare for the first time.
Dr. Turse spends time outside of work with her husband and two children. She enjoys being active outdoors with family and friends.
